We bleed orange! Come visit the 431 acres that UT Austin has to offer. The university's Visitor Center offers campus tours each week. A one-and-a-half-mile route takes visitors inside a classroom, through the LEED Gold-certified Student Activity Center and past the iconic Tower on a path that traverses its picturesque South Mall, with views of the Texas State Capitol.

Route 1 ~ 3 hr & 13 min and 165 miles. This route does require tolls and will take you through the following cities: Cypress, Waller, Brenham, Burton, Carmine, Giddings & Elgin
- Get on I-45N from Polk Street
- Take exit 48B for I-10W
- After 5 miles take exit 763 for I-610N
- Follow the signs for US-290 W towards Austin
- Approximately 83 miles take the exit onto I-35 towards US-290 W
- Merge onto I-35 South
- Approximately 2 miles exit 235B which will take you to Cesar Chavez street where the downtown area begins. Also, this is the last exit before you cross over Lady Bird Lake (the Colorado River)
Route 2 ~ 2 hr & 58 min - 167 miles. This route also requires tolls and will take you through the following cities: Brookshire, Sealy, Ellinger, La Grange, Smithville, Bastrop and Wyldwood
- Get on I-45N from Polk Street
- Merge onto to I-10 W
- Take exit 659 for TX 71
- Approximately 126 miles merge on to 1-35 North
- Approximately 2 miles exit 234B which will take you to Cesar Chavez street where the downtown area begins. Also, this is the first exit just after you cross over Lady Bird Lake (the Colorado River)
